To prove :- Median = altitude.
Proof :- Draw altitude to it name CD.
Now in ADC and BDC
AC = BC _____________(Given) Hypt.
angle ADC = angle BDC = 90 _____as CD is altitude.
CD = CD ______( common side )
Therefore traingle ADC is congruent to traingle BDC
So, we can say that this two traingles are same.
And also median divided traingle into two equal parts.
Hence proved.
