Human Digestive System consists of tracts like, gastrointestinal tract, as well as the digestive organs that support it, which make up the human digestive system.

Explanation:

  • The digestive system is made up of the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum, and anus. They are helped along the way by the pancreas, gall bladder, and liver.
  • The digestive system breaks down our food into its most basic components, such as carbohydrates (glucose), amino acids (protein building blocks), and fatty acids (that makeup fats). Once the broken-down food is absorbed into the bloodstream from the small intestine, the nutrients are distributed to each cell in the body.
