I will give a description of the diagram...
Electric field E = σ / ε with air/vacuum between plates
E' = σ / (K ε) with dielectric medium of strength K.
i) draw field lines perpendicular to the plates uniformly from -vely charged plate to the +vely charged plate. say 10 lines / cm^2.
2) If K = 2, then draw only 10/2 = 5 lines/ cm^2 number of lines from -Q plate to +Q plate.
The field lines will become less in a dielectric.
