The stages of mitosis are described below :
1. Prophase
In this stage, the chromatin material is first of all condensed.
Also in cells of animals, centrioles are found. So, these starts to move at the opposite ends of a cell.
Organelles like golgi bodies, membrane of nucleus, etc, gets disappeared.
2. Metaphase
Every chromosomes in this stage gets arranged in the equator. This plane is known as metaphasic plate.
Also, the spindle fibres released by centrioles gets attached to the kinetochore of the sister chromatids.
3. Anaphase
In this phase, the chromatids starts moving towards the region of pole.
4. Telophase
The chromosomes, after reaching in the region of poles, uncoils and their decondensation occurs.
