Draw the molecular structures of the following:

A) Noble gas species which is isostructural with BrO₃⁻ :

XeO3 is isostructural to BrO₃⁻ and has a pyramidal molecular structure

Noble gas species which is isostructural with BrO3⁻ is XeO3. Both the compounds have tetraderal structure.In BrO3⁻,the bromine atom is SP3 hybridised where as XeO3,the xenone atom is also SP3 hybridised.


Dibasic oxoacid of phosphorus is H3PO3.Here phpsphorous atom is SP3 hybridised.In this structure there is one ketonic oxygen and two hydroxyl groups.
