How to show -3/ 5 on number line:-

  • First draw a line.
  • Then start marking scales by see denominator . In denominator 5 is given So the 5 scale will be of -1 and other 5 is of -2.
  • Then , In between -1 and 0 four scale are there, So mark them in fraction .
  • We have taken difference of 5 scales . So, in denominator we will write 5.
  • Then third will be of -3/5.
  • So, Required number we get is -3/5.
