Drift velocity:
It is average velocity attains by electrons due to an electric field.
The Relation between an electric field and drift velocity:
Drift velocity is directly proportional to the electric field. As velocity increases, electric field also increases and vice versa. In conductors, the potential difference is on ends due to which current flows in conductor through an electric field.
So, both have direct relation.
Hope this will help you.
