for finding the value of sin60 and cos 30 geometrically
we will take a equilateral triangle with side 2a ..draw a median to one of the side...
Let the triangle ABC be the equilateral triangle. and AD be the median..
So angle D is 90°( median of equilateral triangle is it's altitude)
so in triangle ABD....
angle b is 60°( triangle is equilateral)
so sin 60°=P/H
P=AD
And H= AB
so sin 60= AD/AB
.... √(AB²-BD²)/AB
....√(4a²-a²)/2a
....√(3a²)/2a
.......√3a/2
= √3/2
HOPE IT WORKS.
For cos 30° Take traingleABD
and In traingle ABD angle BAD =30°
use this angle for cos30° and solve in same way.
