Due to the gravitational Pull, the moon revolves around the Earth in an elliptical orbit. But why does not the moon gets attracted to Earth and Stick to its surface?

bcoz the gravititional force of earth is neither too strong to attract the moon towards its and nor to weak to let the moon out from eliptical orbit
