The change of seasons on our planet Earth is due to the tilt of its axis making an angle to the perpendicular.
In simple terms, our earth rotates bent toward one side.
Because of this slight tilt, the two hemispheres do not receive the same amount of sunlight.
The hemisphere away from the sun experiences winters, while the side tilted towards it experiences summers
. The order reverses when the Earth reaches the other side of the sun during it's revolution.
