Because of the scarcity of water that cause famine or drought grains,fruits and vegetables go up.Yes the prices of grains and vegetables go up during floods because sometimes flood damages the grains fruits and vegetables which often lead to shortage of vegetables etc because of this the prices of the grains, fruits and vegetables increase.
