During extreme heat of summer, at some places dry grass catches fire. From the grass, it spreads to trees, and very soon the whole forest is on fire. Why so?

 As dry grasses are combustible substances due to heat in extreme summer, its temperature rises above the ignition temperature and catches fire.

Then from the grass, it spreads to trees, and very soon the whole forest is on fire.
