Each mole of substance A(molar mass=720) requires 10 moles of water for complete hydrolysis and gives B,C and D as the hydrolysed product in molar ratio of 2:3:2 if molecular mass of B is and it contributes 40% of total mass of hydrolysed products then moles of C is?

Hi there,
Welcome to brainly family
Given :
■ One mole of A mass = molar mass = 720 gm
■ 10 mols of water mass = 18×10= 180g
■ Total mass of hydrolysis products (B,C,D)= 180 + 720 = 900 gm
■ Molar ratio B:C:D = 2:3:2
■ B% = 40 %
☆Mass of B = 900 ×40÷100 = 360g
☆ C+D remains percentage = 60%
☆ C + D remains mass = 900 - 360 = 540 gm
▪ the mass of C is 540 × 3 ÷ 5 = 324 gm
▪ Mass of D is 540 × 3 ÷ 5 = 216 gm
