each side of a square is 12 cm.if the perimeter of a rectangle is 12 cm more than half of the perimeter of the given square .find the sum of the perimeter of both.

each side of square =12 cm
so the perimeter of square is = 4×side
side =12 cm ;so perimeter of square is 4×12 cm
=48 cm
now half of square's perimeter = 48÷2
= 24 cm
perimeter of rectangle = 12 more than half of perimeter of square
half of square =24 cm
24 + 12 = 36
sum of both the perimeters. = 36+48
84
