A computer requires an operating software to work. Windows is the most popular operating software.The desktop is the primary screen of Windows which appears when your computer complete the boot up process.It includes desktop background,icons and the Taskbar.

The small pictures on the desktop are known as icons. They each represent a program or application available in the computer.At the bottom of the desktop you will also see the Taskbar. The Taskbar always contains the Start button and a clock.It may also contain other buttons.
