When force is applied on arigid body, there will be no change in the shape or size of the rigid body. In case of a non rigid body the force will distort shape and/or size of thebody.

When we apply a force on a non-rigid body, the body is likely to change it's shape.

For example: A dough ball is a non-rigid object, if we apply a certain force on it, it's shape will change.
