Age of a=2x
Age of b=x
Present time....
Age of a=2x+8
Age of b=x+8
(2x+8)/(x+8)=6/5
5(2x+8)=6(x+8)
10x+40=6x+48
10x-6x=8
4x=8
x=2
Age of a(present) =2x+8=2*2+8
=12
Age of b (present) =x+8=2+8=10
Difference =12-10=2
Age of a=2x
