Hey mate here we go

let \: write \: the \: equations \\ x - 3y = 1.............(1) \\ 3x - 2y =  - 4............(2) \\  \\ nw \: multiply \: st \: eq \: and \: nd \: eq \:  \\ to \: get \: equal \: or \: to \: get \: one \: unknown \\ i.e \: x - 3y = 1 \:  \:  \times 3 \\ 3x - 2y =  - 4 \:  \times 1  \\ \\ 3x - 9y =  3.........(3) \\ 3x - 2y =  - 4.........(4) \\  \\ now \: substract \: 3 - 4 \\ 3x - 9y =   3 \\ 3x - 2y =  - 4 \\ i.e \: 0x - 7y = 7 \\ y =   - \frac{7}{7}  \\ y = 1 \\ nw \: put \: this \: in \ \: eq \: 1 \\ x - 3y = 1 \\ x - 3 \times 1 = 1 \\ x - 3 = 1 \\ x = 1 + 3 \\  x= 4 \\  \\  \\ therefore \: x = 4 \:  \: y = 1 \\  \\  \\  \:
