Now,
The voltage sources should always be connected in series
And if there are current sources then should be always connected in parallel
Why?
Well the potential in parallel is always the same and the current in series is always the same
So if we connect two voltage sources in the parallel then it will contradict the above statement Hence, two voltage sources will always be connected in series with each other
The potential difference between any two individual cells will be 2 volts
But the net potential difference will be 4 volts
So, a battery of 4 volts will be formed
