Of course it is TRUE
for a summ up
A temporary magnet is more commonly known as an electromagnet. Its main feature is a copper wire wound in a coil and is connected to a source of electricity through a switch. When you close the switch current flows through the coil and sets up a magnetic field.

Electromagnets are temporary magnets. It is true....as when current passes through wire beside a needle ...needle shows magnetic power..that is it attracts and repels. But when current is stopped ....needle remains non magnetic...so they are temporary magnets.
