A) element B will gain 2 electron and their charge on it ion is 2-.

B) element A will lose 3 electron and makes 3+ charge on it.

(A) Element B is Oxygen which gains 2 electrons to gain stability. The charge on it is 2-

(B) Element A is Boron which loses 3 electrons to gain stability. The charge on it is 3+.
