Nelson Mandela once said “The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow”. It is very true. But, are we strong enough to lead our country towards progress; is a question to be asked?
We all know that around 50% per cent of India’s population are below twenty five years of age. When compared to us, China stands second and Japan third. But, what are we doing with this youth power? Going to clubs, wasting our health, aging early and spoiling our life in every possible way.
This scenario has to change. Our nation needs “strong, determined and self-motivated youths”. How can this happen? We need entrepreneurs to take up the job of providing jobs to others. We need agriculturist to provide the nation with healthy food. We need chemists to find us the correct medicine for the disease ……. For all these, we need the youth to be focused and willing to take the risk.
Let me end my speech by quoting Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s quote “Failure will never over take me if my definition to succeed is strong enough”. Let us all succeed and make our nation to be proud of us.
