the air pressure is large enough to crush a soda can. You can see the air crush a can in this experiment. Paneling occurs when the pressure inside a plastic bottle becomes less ... the structural integrity of the bottle by slightly changing the shape.

when we put cold water on heated coke can, it losses it's shape because of air pressure
