for eg :-In the generation of hydro electricity in dams the kinetic energy of flowing water is firstly converted into potential energy by stopping it's flow by constructing a dam. After that the potential energy of water is used to produce electricity by rotating the turbine.

if we turn on the bulb electric energy converts into light energy and some on heat energy and some our body stores
