Boiling is nothing but the rapid vaporization of a liquid. It occurs when a liquid is heated to its boiling point, the temperature at which the vapour pressure of the liquid is equal to the atmospheric pressure that is pressure exerted on the liquid by the surrounding atmosphere.

Boiling is nothing but the phase transition which occurs at constant temperature and pressure. It is isobaric as well as isothermal process.
