1. It is a surface phenomenon
2.It takes place in any temperature but below the boiling point of that element.
3.The temperature is different in different levels but below its melting point.
Boiling-
1.Its covers the whole element.
2.It takes place only in its boiling point.
3.The temperature is fixed i. e the boiling point of the element
