As given

a+b = 76; a-b =38

Let’s add the two given equations so

(a+b)+(a-b)=76+38

2a=114

a=57

Now, substitute value of a ie 57 in any one given equation

a+b=76 so putting a as 57

57+b=76

b=19

So, now as asked

a/b=57/19

=3 (answer)
