ESSAY ON CORONA VIRUS 2 PAGES
Answers
Answer:
Coronaviruses are a group of related viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, coronaviruses cause respiratory tract infections that can be mild, such as some cases of the common cold (among other possible causes, predominantly rhinoviruses), and others that can be lethal, such as SARS, MERS, and COVID-19. Symptoms in other species vary: in chickens, they cause an upper respiratory tract disease, while in cows and pigs they cause diarrhea. There are yet to be vaccines or antiviral drugs to prevent or treat human coronavirus infections.
Coronaviruses constitute the subfamily Orthocoronavirinae, in the family Coronaviridae, order Nidovirales, and realm Riboviria.[5][6] They are enveloped viruses with a positive-sense single-stranded RNA genome and a nucleocapsid of helical symmetry. The genome size of coronaviruses ranges from approximately 27 to 34 kilobases, the largest among known RNA viruses.[7] The name coronavirus is derived from the Latin corona, meaning "crown" or "halo", which refers to the characteristic appearance reminiscent of a crown or a solar corona around the virions (virus particles) when viewed under two-dimensional transmission electron microscopy, due to the surface being covered in club-shaped protein spikes.
→The Virus gained popularity in Wuhan, China; in December 2019,The Chinese Authorities noticed that the virus started spreading through their communities, Later in the following months, It had spread to other Countries, with cases doubling within days.
→Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-Related Corona-Virus 2 [SARs-CoV2],Also called COVID-19 but an easier name is 'Coronavirus'.
→The Virus can only double its cells with the help of living cells, The average time the virus is estimated to live on objects is 24hours,The Virus could travel through air and objects in our body, When the virus enters the body, it usually damages mainly two parts, the Intestine and the Lungs.
→As the Virus enters the Lungs, and the lungs are lined with billions of Epithelial cells, which are the lining of Lungs, doesn't have any safety and are easily damaged by the virus, it then gives simple instructions to the cells, that is to copy and reassemble it's cells, as the cells are copied and are in large quantity, The Virus Orders the cell to Self Destruct, This allows the other infected cells to infect other epithelial cells,This Grows the No. of Infected cells, and In about 10-Days,Millions of healthy cells are infected and the Lungs are affected, Later when the virus goes into the intestine, it affects our immune system, our immune system has destructive fighting cells which kills the virus when required, the Cytokinins control all of these cells, but the virus is deadly and it infects some of our fighting cells into fight our own healthy cells, their are two types of Destructive fighting cells, Namely (1)-Neutrophils, they are great at killing stuff and even remove some of our cells(dead cells),as they come into action they release destructive enzymes which should kill the virus, but the virus gains control over these destructive cells and as cells dont have eyes or ears to communicate, They Damage our own healthy cells, (2)-Killer T-Cells, they usually order the infected cells to commit control sucide or Self-Destruct, and as the Virus takes on the Killer cells, They start ordering healthy cells to self-destruct too, The more of these cells arive, the more damage it causes the body, like permanent damage, to the Alveolis which pump oxygenated blood to other parts of our body, In some cases, The immune system, Regains control and clears off the infected cells.
→As the Virus destroys the epithelial cells, and the virus is cleared off, the bacteria now damages the lungs, The bacteria could cause severe damage, like Pneumoniae and other severe diseases, Due to the Immune system fighting for weeks,it lost many of its resources and is less reactive now, while the bacteria are high in resources, the bacteria could now enter the blood and overrun the body, which could result in Death, However COVID-19, is harmful than Flu, as it spreads faster and is more contagious than flu.
→As COVID-19, is now a Pandemic, Pandemics could be of two types๛(1) Fast Pandemic and (2) Slow Pandemic, In (1)Fast Pandemic, People get infected on a large scale and at the same time as there is no measure to prevent it and it even Breaks down the Healthcare System, As more staff lose their lifes and less resources and equipments are available, To avoid this All of us should practice Social Distancing, and other measures to turn it into a Slow Pandemic,A (2)Slow Pandemic starts off with treatment in the early phase which allows everyone who is infected to get treatment, and it ensures that later the Virus wouldn't grow into Larger Problems.
→Currently, there is No Vaccine for COVID-19, all we can do is consume more and more Vitamin-C
and we must follow, slogans like๛ Not getting infected,Nor infecting others, To keep ourself Safe and clean we must wash our hands with soap, As the Virus's Lining is made up of Fat, Soap Breaks the Fat and Leaves it useless, and as soap makes the hand slippery, it allows the Virus to move out from the Hands, Another way is Social distancing, Meaning no hugs and no handshakes as well, On a Higher Level Quarantine are placed to Slow down the pandemic And to this day and Age, it is all in our Hands.
