Moreover, an emoji cannot replace a facial expression or tone of voice.
Body language is an important form of communication, but online you can't do it. It is said that body language delivers half of the message and only 10% is conveyed through words.A handshake, pleasant smile add value to the conversation.
There is a chance for misunderstanding or misinterpreting the messages. in such cases it is better to talk to them or meet them directly rather than spoiling relations. children who grow up using these technologies feel difficult to talk face to face.          Does Facebook kill face to face conversation skills?

Conversation skills and Facebbok interaction are two different things. Actual conversation skills are more demanding and challenging. One has less time to plan and think to react. Besides, face to face conversation requires speech only. As far as killing of conversations skills is concerned Facebook has almost no impact on it. if we compare the amount of time a man spends in face to face conversation and Facebook interaction, we will realize that we spend far more time in face to face conversation than in Facebook interaction.

Since we improve in the skill we spend more time doing it, Facebook cannot have much effect on our conversation skills. We communicate everyday with our family members, friends, teachers, etc face to face only. Facebook interaction through typing and emoticons is nothing in comparison to the face to face conversation.

Now let’s talk about Facebook conversation skills. Well, while texting to our friends, family members or relatives, we use some messenger apps such as Whatsapp, Facebook messenger, g-chat, skype, yahoo chat etc. This type of interaction is far easier and convenient than face to face conversation. We have more time to respond. We can infuse the emotions with pics, audios, videos, and emoticons.

In conclusion it can be said that face to face conversation and Facebook interaction are two different types of communications. Both help us become better communicators.
