My favourite cartoon is Shin chan. I love him because of his love for mischief. He is a five year old boy. He lives in Japan. He goes to a kindergarten school. He has many friends. His main friends are Kazama, Masao, Nani and Bochan. They have formed a "Kasukabe defense group". Shin chan is the most mischievious of all of them.

His younger sister, Himamari, is also like him. She likes sparkling things. Shin chan has a pet dog named Shiro. Shin chan does not take good care of his dog. He never gives him his morning food. The name of Shin chan's dad is Hiroshi Nohara. He is an employee in a company. He loves Himamari more than Shin chan but is afraid of his wife Mitsi Nohara. Shin chan's mother, Mitsi, is the main character after Shin chan. She is a perfect housewife. She takes care of all the family members.

However, She is very badtempered. She hits shinchan on his head which forms a bulging on his head. She hides some money which she calls her secret savings. She spends them on buying expensive clothes or cosmetics. Shin chan, by some means, always, comes to know where she has hidden her secret savings and then blackmails her that he would tell that to his dad. She, having no choice, buys him either Action kamen set or Choco chips. So this is Shin chan.

he is a very mischievous and naughty. He is always looking for adventure. He loves life and is very optimistic about it. He is very fond of Action Kamen who is his favourite toon. He loves to eat chocolates of high quality. However, his mother tries to give him as less chocolates as she can and tries to save money. He doesn't like to eat capsicum but her mother tells him to eat it or else she would beat him. His mother, Mitsi, wants to buy fashionable clothes and other expensive cosmetics but Shin chan always wastes them. He is a very clumsy boy who is afraid of nobody else than his own mother. He likes to tease his friend Kazama who is a total Show-Off. Shin chan calls his principal as "Gang Leader" who by face is very rough and looks like a real gang leader but from inside he is a very good natured person. Shin chan' class teacher, Yoshinaga ma'm is young girl teaching at the school. She is jealous of another teacher , Maatsuzaka, who has the same feeling for her. They both try to outdo each other. About Shin chan's friend, His friend Kazama as mentioned before, is a total show off. Masao is a coward but is a good friend of Shin chan. Nani is a normal person except that her mother hates Shin chan. Bochan is a person similar to Shin chan except the fact that he speaks very little. With the help of his friends he always is trying to have fun

Answer:

Also, Shinchan has no fear which makes him a better person than I even though he is only a fictional character. He is able to walk the streets, go on shopping errands for his mother and return home without being afraid or scared of anything. That is something else I could not do as a 5-year-old.

What I see in Shinchan that makes him my favorite cartoon character is that he has abilities, etc., that I never had, and wished I did have like a 5-year-old child. One thing we do share though is our inability to be understood.

This was a character flaw that was endearing, not off-putting. Shinchan looked human because of this problem and it helped me to relate to him a lot better. He is difficult to understand because the character is written and voiced from a Japanese point of view.

There are a lot of Japanese words he uses that just cannot be translated into another language. Plus, he is 5 and he does not understand all the meanings of the words he uses. His inappropriate use is funny but makes one scratch their head in bewilderment.

A similar reaction I got as a child from my friend’s parents and other adults. Another flaw that helps me like this character is his ability to misunderstand an instruction and then go off thinking he knows what to do. As a 5-year-old boy I did some of the exact same things.

Unfortunately, my results were real and not so good. They also can’t be erased or forgotten like Shinchan’s can. He is luckier than I as when he is punished he does not get hurt. Sadly, my seat of learning hurt quite a bit when the belt of knowledge was applied to it.

But that difference wasn’t enough to dissuade me from making him my favorite cartoon character. Instead, it helped me identify with him more as we both have our own problems and character flaws.

I can only laugh at his lack of tact when he asks inappropriate questions of adults. I do not know how many times I did that. I laugh even harder when I recall some of their facial expressions when they heard my questions.

If there was a character quality I did not like about Shinchan, it is that he doesn’t age. No matter how much time passes, he remains 5 years old. Unlike me, who ages with every passing year.

Sometimes I wish I could stop time and keep from aging. But then I think, it would not be a good life being stuck at the age of 5 for the rest of my life. So I guess I have something better than Shinchan has.

I get to grow up and see what the good things he brings to my life when I need some healthy entertainment. Also, I get to do adult things he will never be able to do.

How was the essay on Shinchan? I hope you liked it.
