Birthday means party and, like every other year, I have planned one this year too. I have invited all my friends and my favorite uncle and aunt.
I shall ever remember my twelfth birthday. It was celebrated in a grand style. My birthday falls on the 13th of April every year. Baisakhi is also celebrated the same day. My birthday falls in the spring season and days are very pleasant then.
This year a cool and fragrant breeze was blowing. All my friends and near relatives were invited for the occasion. A special sky-blue shirt and a black trouser were prepared for me. It was a day full of excitement, joy and expectations.
The drawing-room was tastefully decorated with flowers balloons and colourful paper buntings. In the evening, the celebrations began when all the guests arrived. Then I went into the hall dressed in my special clothes.
They were all waiting for me. They welcomed me by clapping hands and handshakes The birthday cake had been placed on a large table with ten candles fixed on it. It was a large and beautiful chocolate cake.
Candles were lit. I blew them out in one blow and then cut the cake. Friends and relatives cheered me loudly, clapped and sang “happy birthday to you”. I was given so many presents, all wrapped beautifully.
The guests were served with cake pieces, sweets, snacks and soft drinks and tea. There was much fun, merry-making, laughter and jokes. Children were given toffees and chocolates. As a return gift, every person was given a set of books.

Birthday comes only once in a year and last year I celebrated my birthday the way I wanted to. My parents were gracious enough to ask me for anything on that day I ask them to arrange giant party and invite my friends. My mother is my best when it comes to inviting friends home. she helped need to make invitation cards and to fill up with names. She made a list of all my friends and then made a card to send them to all. And then she went to the market and buy balloon and decorative items for home just to arrange the party he called out many decorators to decorate Giants tent....
We ordered a cake and chocolates for return gifts. As, we reached home we started doing our household choruses. We hunged the balloons on the wall ,on the doors, Windows, and the fans of our house. I was really surprised to see all the arrangement was ready. My mother was busy whole day in the kitchen for making delicious food for my friends...
As soon was everything ready I quickly went to my room just see see if it is ok to call all my friends and I was really happy to see that my mother has already done all the arrangements.
The cake arrived in the evening. I arranged many games just do you enjoy that day. And after that I cut my cake and we all enjoyed that it was a use cake made of chocolate chunks and chips it was filled with strawberries and my favourite vanilla cream.It was in a shape of a mermaid sitting on his huge stone on this site of ocean.
I was filled with joy when I went to bed I found lot of gifts lying on the floor and on my bed I was overjoyed it was very surprising to see such things. And the most beautiful and deserving gift which I received was my parent's gift. I open my gift one by one and found lot of things which delighted my heart.
And this was how I celebrated my birthday party with lots of love, satisfaction and happiness..
