Although it's a natural phenomenon, it has grown to be a problem in the last couple of centuries because of an anthropogenic rise in the GHG (Greenhouse gases).
The average temperature is rising everywhere on earth. The winters become colder and the summers are unbearably hot. The main reasons will be discussed further in detail but the major among them is human activity itself.
