Explanation:

There are 3 types of bones:

1. skeletal ( striated)

2. smooth (non striated)

3. cardiac ( striated)

The skeletal muscles are associated with the bones.

The bones form the body frame, help in support, and act as a storage place for Calcium.

The relationship between the bone and striated muscles is as follows;

Explanation:

  • A bone is a rigid compact structure which can be found in the skeleton of the vertebrates. The bones form the exoskeleton of the animal body that protects the internal organs of the body. The bones are made up of calcium, phosphates and magnesium. In humans there are 206 bones in adults and 213 bones in the infant.
  • The striated muscles are the muscles which exhibit dark and light bands in transverse orientation, these consists of multi-nucleated fibers. These muscles are found in animals.
  • The bones are located at the cranium, limbs, chests, vertebral column and hips. The bones helps in providing protection to the internal organs of the body and helps in locomotion.
  • The striated muscles in collaboration with the bones helps in the locomotion of the body through contraction of the muscles, helps in breathing and maintaining the posture of the body.
