(old )cost of milk= 810
% at which the price of milk went up=12.5%
(new) cost of milk=810*125/1000
=81*125/100
=101.25 rupees
new cost =810+101.25
=911.25 rupees.
% by which she should reduce the consumption of milk=x*100/911.25=810
=8%

Answer:

old )cost of milk= 810

% at which the price of milk went up=12.5%

(new) cost of milk=810*125/1000

=81*125/100

=101.25 rupees

new cost =810+101.25

=911.25 rupees.

% by which she should reduce the consumption of milk=x*100/911.25=810

=8%
