hello mate here's ur answer.....

no every rational no. is not a whole no. because rational no. are also integer.
eg__ -5/8, -1/2 etc.

celinbiju: Is that bcoz whole numbers do not contain fractional component but rational numbers do contain ?
ishanaghosh: Yes. Rational numbers contain whole numbers but whole numbers dont contain rational numbers. 6.2 is a rational number but because of decimal places, it is not a whole number.
celinbiju: oohk Thank you so much
Ayaankhan1: its my pleasure
ishanaghosh: Who did you thank?
celinbiju: The one who gave answer to my question

celinbiju: Thanks Ishana for your help . It was really a great help from you :)
