Evolution: Most of the life forms that we see today have arisen from the accumulation of changes in the body design of ancient organisms. This slow change in the body design of an organism over a long period of time is termed as evolution. It helps an organism to survive in its surroundings.
Classification allows things to be identified and categorized on the basis of structure and function of an organism, and accordingly, we can refer to them as primitive or advanced organisms. Therefore, classification helps in predicting the line of evolution.

we can say that classification and evolution are interlinked as we have learned in class ninth that the living things are classified from basic level
i.e Prokaryotes has the most basic structure and eukaryotes which is more developed are classified in another groups which are further classified into more groups.
in the same way we can say that the organisms must have evolved from the most basic structure i.e prokaryotes and then eukaryotes and so on
in this way we can say that classification and evolution are interlinked
