Answer:

As animals evolved more-complex bodies and behaviors, the eye too became more complex. Eyes evolved connections to muscle cells rather than cells that moved by waving cilia. Neurons evolved that could process signals and coordinate behavior.

\blacksquare EYE is among one of the five sense organs that help us in sight seeing and is responsible for visibility.

\blacksquare Evolution is a slow process and it takes time.Just like this eye is evolved over a long period of time and the complex eyes like that of human beings is a result of evolution only.

\blacksquare The primitive organisms which existed on the Earth were slow moving and smaller in size. They did not require a specialised organ for observing any object. Example Flatworm,so it does not have a eye instead it just have a eye spot.

\blacksquare As evolution progressed, comparatively larger and mobile organisms evolved. Most of them were predators and required better vision for predation.

Hence, from the basic design of eyes, more complex forms evolved.

Example Human beings.
