"Excretory system is the organ system that is responsible for elimination of wastes from the body.

After digestion, solid wastes are sent out through the anal canal.

Water soluble wastes which are carried in the blood are filtered out by a pair of kidneys. This waste is then sent to the urinary bladder via the ureters. Once the bladder is full, the urine is expelled out through the urethra.

Gases such as carbon-dioxide and water vapour are sent out through the lungs.
