  • DNA is a deoxyribonucleic acid.
  • Ribo Nucleic Acid is RNA.
  • Endoplasmic reticulum (ER)
  • Smooth endoplasmic reticulum (SER)
  • RER stands for rough endoplasmic reticulum.
  • ATP stands for adenosine triphosphate.

Concept

DNA, also known as deoxyribonucleic acid, is a polymer made up of two polynucleotide chains that coil around one another to form a double helix. All known organisms and many viruses have genetic information in the polymer that is necessary for their development, operation, growth, and reproduction.

A polymeric molecule called ribonucleic acid (RNA) is crucial for many biological processes, including the coding, decoding, control, and expression of genes. Nucleic acids include RNA and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA).

An organic substance called adenosine triphosphate (ATP) gives energy to a variety of biological functions in living cells, including muscular contraction, nerve impulse transmission, condensate dissolving, and chemical synthesis. ATP is frequently referred to as the "molecular unit of currency" of intracellular energy transfer and is present in all known forms of life. It either transforms into adenosine monophosphate (AMP) or adenosine diphosphate (ADP) when absorbed in metabolic activities (AMP). ATP is replenished by other processes. Every day, the human body recycles the equivalent amount of ATP to its own body weight. Additionally, it serves as a coenzyme and a precursor to DNA and RNA.
