If human beings wish to enjoy life then it has to take Science and Spirituality hand in hand. When we say ‘Human being’ , then we are referring to two aspects one is the human i.e the body made up of flesh and bone, and the other is ‘being ‘ which is the spiritual aspect. When some one dies we call the body - Dead Body and pray for the departed soul. But unlike in science where we have no ambiguity about laws of gravitation, thermodynamics etc, we have different views about soul, it characteristics, it functioning etc. As such we do not have one view about spirituality. Not understanding the truth about spirituality has lead to use of Science for war and suffering. Today nations are spending Billions of dollars for purchasing arm and ammunition instead of well being of their citizens. Science has given us a comfortable bed, AC and other comforts, but to get a good sleep and a happy healthy life you need spirituality to guide you on the righteous path.
