Solution:

Experiment: A baby is born, Result: Is a boy or girl.

S = { Boy , Girl }

A = { Boy }

B = { Girl }  

n(S) = 2

n(A) = 1

n(B) = 1

P (A)  =  n(A)/n(S)

=> P(A)   = 1/2

P(B) = n(B)/n(S)

=> P(B) = 1/2

P(A) = P(B) = 1/2
