there are 3 types of wind.
1 doldrums
2 trade winds
3 horse lattitudes
doldrums =
Doldrums also called equilateral calms, equatorial region of light oceans currents and winds within the intertropical convergence zone .

trade winds=
a strong wind that blows all the time towards the equator and then to the west

horse lattitudes =
it is a significant belt of atmospheric high pressure situated around the latitude of 30 degree north in the Northern hemisphere and 30° South in the southern hemisphere .

1. Planetary winds: Winds that blow all the time in the same areas of the world.

2. Periodic winds: Wind which blow at a particular period of the day or season of the year

3. Local winds: The winds blowing in particular locations due to specific pressure conditions prevailing there are called local winds.

4. Variable winds: The winds which are not regular and are of short duration are called variable winds.

5. Monsoon winds: Winds experiencing a seasonal reversal in direction.
