Area of a trapezium = 1/2 ( a + b) x h where a and b are the length of the two parallel lines and h, the height.

Find the height:

Area = 1/2 ( a + b) x h

Given that area = 1586 cm² and the sum of a and b = 122 cm

1586 = 1/2 ( 122) x h

1586 = 61 h

61 h = 1586

h = 1586 ÷ 61 = 26 cm

Answer: The height is 26 cm
