hiii! dear,
the five measures for controlling industrial pollution are:
* by using fabric filter which separates the dust from the gas.
* by using alternative fuels, which causes zero air pollution, help to protect the environment.
* using high chimneys also reduces pollution. If pollutants are discharged at a high altitude they get reduced in concentration by diffusion or dilution.
* planting trees also reduce pollution which is why they are planted around industries.
* by using venture scrubber, it consists of a venture throat through which the polluted gas is passed. water is added in the direction of the flow so that the water enters the throat. this system removes even small sized particles.
hope it helped u :-)

Five ways to reduce industrial pollution are listed below :
(i) Restructuring the manufacturing processes to reduce or eliminate pollutants, through a process called pollution prevention.
(ii) Creating cooling ponds, which are man-made and are designed to cool the heated waters from industries by evaporation, condensation and radiation.
(iii) Filtration of sewage in water treatment plants attached to industries.
(iv) Instructing industries to be Set-up far from residential areas.
