eg. a fielder stops the ball by bringing its speed to zero.
can change the size or shape of an object.
eg. when we squeeze toothpaste its shape gets changed because of force.
can change the direction of motion of a moving object.
eg. a batsman changes the direction of ball towards where he want to hit.
