The strongest argument against democracy is a five minute discussion with the average voter." The second strongest criticism is that, democracies put a lot of power into the hands of the media. People are kept informed on issues by the media and thus the power of the media to swing voters is unparalleled.

1. regular elections and changing leaders make system and instable.
2. due to political competition and use of power and money, leaders use all methods to win election.
3.the decision making process is slow as large number participent has to be consulted.
4. democracy leads to corruption for it is based on electoral competition.
5. ordinary people don't know what is good for them; they should not decide anything.
