Derived units :-

=>The units of measurement of all other physical quantities , which can be obtained from fundamental units is called derived units.

For example:-

Unit of speed (i.e,ms^-1)is a derived unit.

speed= distance / time

unit of speed = unit of distance / unit of time

=>m/s = ms^-1

✴ similarly , derived unit of area is m^2

; derived unit of volume of m^3 and so on .

✴The units of Physical quantities like density, momentum , acceleration , force etc .can be expressed in terms of fundamental units of length ,mass and time.Their units are derived units.

Thanks
