)Left atrium Receives oxygen rich blood from lungs through pulmonary vein when it is relaxing.
)After collecting this blood left atrium contracts and left ventricle expands so the oxygenated blood now is transferred to the left ventricle.
)After left ventricle receives the blood and contracts to pump out the blood in the main artery called Aorta.Aorta carries blood to all organs of the body like I am stomach brain liver etc.
)When oxygenated blood passes through the Capillaries of body organs, the blood loses all the oxygen to the body cells and is now called the deoxygenated blood. At the same time carbon outside enters into the blood.Did you oxygenated blood from various body organs enters into the main vein called Vena Cava. This main vein carries the deoxygenated blood to the right atrium.
)When the right atrium contracts deoxygenated blood is pushed into the right ventricle.
)When the right ventricle contracts the Deoxygenated blood is pumped into the pulmonary artery which carries it into the lungs.Alan city oxygenated blood releases the carbon dioxide and takes in oxygen. So the blood becomes oxygenated again in lungs and is carried to the left atrium through pulmonary vein.
The above process is repeated continuously.
