Fleming's right-hand rule gives which direction the current flows. The right hand is held with the thumb, index finger and middle finger mutually perpendicular to each other (at right angles), as shown in the diagram.

Answer:If a conductor is moved in a magnetic field perpendicular to the field, an induced current flows in the conductor. According to the Fleming's right hand rule, if we point the index finger, middle finger and the thumb perpendicularly with the thumb pointing in the direction of motion of conductor and the index finger along the magnetic field, then the middle finger points in the direction of induced current.
