☛ In areas receiving heavy rainfall, tropical rainforests or evergreen forests are found. They're very thick.

☛ At various times of the year, they shed their leaves. They always seem green as a consequence.

☛ Monsoon forests are also called tropical deciduous forests. It's less thick. At a specific moment of the year, they shed their leaves.

☛ As they stay green throughout the year, tropical rainforests are also called evergreen forests.

☛ This is because at separate moments of the year they shed their leaves.

And thats why, they are named so.
